Welcome to Middle Nene Cruising Club
We are a private members club and not a Marina. When vacancies occur, new members are very welcome and are expected to assist with their time in the day to day running of the club, as well as supporting the club in other ways such as attending socials, work parties etc.
In exchange for your committment, we offer one of the most beautiful locations on the River Nene, nice people and moorings.
History
The Middle Nene Cruising Club was formed in 1946. The club began it's life near Islip not far from the Thrapston Islip bridge. It relocated to it's present home at Titchmarsh Mill some years ago now but the heart and spirit of the club went with it.
The club presently has approximately 100 boats and 250 members and is thriving. The social life as well as the boating side of the club has grown from strength to strength.
The recently refurbished club bar is open on Friday and Saturday evenings from 7.30pm and Sunday lunch time from 12 midday. All visiting boaters are welcome.
The club is a member and supporter of the Association of Nene River Clubs (ANRC) and all other members are most welcome.
